HEARING: Each Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. the Center offers free hearing screenings to Adults and Children in the Savannah Community and Surrounding Area.
SPEECH: The FIRST THURSDAY of each month from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. the Center offers free speech screenings to Adults and Children in the Savannah Community and Surrounding Area.

May 31, 2011 AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE CLASS
(Beginners & Advanced Levels Available)

The Spring Session will begin Tuesday, May 31st for Advanced Level and Thursday, June 2nd for Beginners Level. (Please click on the Enrollment Form.)
DEADLINE FOR ENROLLMENT IS 5/24/2011.
The ADVANCED LEVEL class is held TUESDAY EVENINGS from 6:30 to 8:00 PM for EIGHT WEEKS.
The BEGINNERS LEVEL class is held THURSDAY EVENINGS from 6:30 to 8:00 PM for EIGHT WEEKS.
The enrollment fee is $75.00.

The REQUIRED book for both levels is A Basic Course in American Sign Language: Tom Humphries, Carol Padden, Terrence J. O’Rourke, Frank A. Paul (available at Amazon.com (9780932666420) and at www.harriscomm.com).
Learn to communicate with American Sign Language! Great for beginners – parents and older siblings of deaf and hard of hearing children and those parents interested in teaching their newborn early communication skills through ASL. The class is restricted to adults and children 12 years and older.
