Catherine Nelson, M.S., CCC-SLP
Catherine Nelson is a speech/language pathologist with over 25 years of professional experience in pediatrics, specializing in treatment for Childhood Apraxia of Speech, velopharyngeal insufficiency, tongue thrust, reading, hearing impairment, and articulation disorders. Most recently Cathy was a Master Clinician at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Bill Wilkerson Speech and Hearing Center, a position she held for 10 years. In addition to providing treatment, Cathy was a clinical supervisor for graduate students and presented numerous continuing education seminars and class lectures.
Cathy graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University, and has a Master of Science degree from Phillips University in Speech Pathology. She is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association, with state licensure in Georgia.
